Why did your company need a team building program?

Last June we brought the Regional Coordinators from all our Ontario offices together and in creating the conference agenda we wanted to provide them with a WOW! After contacting Rock the Stars and learning about their various programs, we decided it would be the perfect program to provide us with everything we were looking for.

Why was Rock the Stars selected?

Rock the Stars was recommended by a specialist who had participated in the same program with Investors Group at a convention the previous year.

How did the participants respond to the activity?

The response was amazing! It was so much fun and the program encouraged creativity and team building. It gave the newer Region Coordinators the experience to get to know their peers.

What did they take away from the experience?

Wonderful memories of crazy costumes and brilliant lyrics! They loved performing with the band in their various groups and loved the Play With the Band part of the program too.

Have there been any lasting effects as a result of the activity?

Brought our team closer together and gave the new Regional Coordinators the chance to experience the amazing group of individuals we have on our Ontario team.

What has been the return on investment?

Rock the Stars exceeded our expectations! It was brilliant!

Why did your company need a team building program?

Participants in our National Sales Conference come from various locations across Canada and this is their primary opportunity to meet and network with colleagues and support teams.

Why was Rock the Stars selected?

Rock the Stars was selected based on a referral from one of our suppliers that we work with in preparing for our conference. They had worked with this group in the past and had recommended the program as a good fit for our group’s profile.

How did the participants respond to the activity?

The participants really got into the activity and took their performance project much more seriously than we ever imagined. Many of the groups scheduled further “band practices” outside of the actual exercise. The night of their performance they loved the experience and most commented that it was one of the “best activities that they had ever participated in.” Overall it was a fantastic experience for our group.

What did they take away from the experience?

The take aways of this program was the impact related to our participant’s ability to build relationships and collaborate with their colleagues. This program requires the participants to think creatively and develop solutions in a short period of time which requires focus and respect for other’s input.

What has been the return on investment?

The return on investment is the improved working relationships between participants. Providing an entertaining and engaging activity allowed participants to have fun while developing key contacts within the organization.

Why did your company need a team building program?

We plan events every quarter for our NAP program, which is designed to create a platform for new hires and upper management. The team building event is great because it breaks down all hurdles for networking and provides a great opportunity to interact with everyone.

Why was Rock the Stars selected?

Reputation.

How did the participants respond to the activity?

The response was great; everyone was raving about it for days.

What did they take away from the experience?

Dressing up in wigs and rock star costumes with upper management creates an informal relationship that is vital to networking. People felt comfortable and thus were more open to meeting and creating a strong bond.

What has been the return on investment?

The results were great and definitely worth the money spent.

Why did your company need a team building program?

It was the fun and interactive aspect that we really wanted for our event.

Why was Rock the Stars selected?

Because it has great reviews and I had spoken with Stewart at length about it.

How did the participants respond to the activity?

Very well. They had lots of fun. Even those that didn’t get up on stage had fun watching the show.

What did they take away from the experience?

Mostly the enjoyment of working with people that they wouldn’t normally work with in a very fun atmosphere.

Have there been any lasting effects as a result of the activity?

There is still lots of talk about that event. Two more of our groups have since done Rock the Stars with similar results.

Any other comments?

Rock the Stars were great to work with, very professional and lots of fun!  The musicians were great and our group enjoyed interacting with them throughout the night.
